Our Google Ads Services

Google Search ads enable your business to feature at the top of Google’s search results for keywords that are relevant to your business. This gets your business name and website right under your potential customers’ noses when they’re actively searching for products and services—just like the ones you have to offer.

Search ads are highly measurable and highly customisable—showing you their performance in real time so you can make decisions based on your ad data to drive more leads and sales. From modifying your bids to refining your audience targeting, to creating new ad copy variations—you can go in and tweak your ad parameters at any time to help improve your return on ad spend.

Google Shopping Ads are a type of advertising format on the Google Ads platform that allow Aussie ecommerce businesses to promote their products in a more visual, easily shoppable format—as opposed to text-only Google Search Ads.

Like Google Search Ads, Google Shopping Ads appear at the top of Google search results pages and display an image of the product, its title, price, and store name. When a user clicks on the ad, they’re taken to your product page or landing page where they can view more information about the product and purchase it directly from your website.

If you’re selling physical products, Google Shopping Ads are great for capturing high-intent, “ready to buy now” customers as they show your product of your image and its price upfront. This helps increase brand visibility and awareness, as well as drive traffic to your product pages and landing pages and of course—increase sales.

And just like with Google Search Ads, with Google Shopping Ads you can set your budget, target specific audiences, and closely monitor ad performance.

Google’s Display Ads network helps get your ads on a selection of 2 million+ websites, videos, and apps–reaching an enormous market of up to 90% of global internet users.

And with advanced targeting features, you can zero in on specific audience types, interests, and behaviours, so that your ads are even more likely to catch the eye–and attention–of your target customers and encourage them to click on you.

Google Display Ads help you attract and engage your audience with eye-catching visuals, interactive elements, and custom-tailored messages that encourage them to explore further.

And like other Google Ads services, with Google Display Ads you can also track your campaign’s performance with real-time analytics, so you can use up-to-the-minute fresh data to guide your next steps to drive leads, sales, and ultimately–revenue for your business.

Through YouTube ads, you can turn the world’s favorite video-sharing platform into your business’ billboard, getting in front of a slice of 2 billion+ monthly users.

With so many monthly users, you can easily tap into the platform’s rich demographic, interest, and behavioural data, to help your bumper or in-stream ads reach viewers who are genuinely interested in your offerings.

And like all Google advertising channels, through your dashboard you can gather deep insights into your performance, allowing you to optimise your ads and continuously improve your ROI.

Google Remarketing enables you to show targeted ads to people who have already engaged with your brand or visited your website.

Using a tracking pixel, Google can ‘follow along’ with them, as they use Google services or browse other websites, such as news sites, showing them relevant ads for the product or service they were looking at.

This helps you to stay top-of-mind with potential customers who have already shown an interest in your offers, increasing your chances of winning them over as customers and maximising the value of your marketing efforts—with very little effort.

Google Ads can be an effective marketing tool for almost any niche. With its wide reach and precise targeting options, it allows businesses of all types to reach their desired audience. Our team has experience across various industries and can tailor a Google Ads strategy to meet the unique needs of your niche.

For over 10 years we have helped a diverse range of businesses across a range of industries, here’s a few of them:

Law firms: We’ve worked with law firms over many years helping create Google ads campaigns for a range of legal disciplines, and helping attract sustainable leads.

E-commerce: We’ve helped businesses across Australia as well as internationally generate tens of millions in revenue with strategically crafted Google shopping campaigns, that also include dynamic remarketing, YouTube to help create a holistic funnel to maximise ROAS.

Health & Medical practitioners: Optometrists, Osteopaths, Dentists, Podiatrists, Chiropractors, Chinese Medicine, Massage, beauty and other therapists - we have helped many of them build and maintain a steady flow of clientele using Google ads.

Building & Construction: Let’s just say we helped some of these guys from the ground up, building strong foundations in the PPC space to help drive a steady flow of targeted leads.

Online Education: We’ve helped B2B as well as B2C businesses in the online education space using Search, Remarketing and YouTube Ads, across Australia, the UK & the USA, with a strong focus on lowering CAC (Customer acquisition costs) & maximising LTV (lifetime value)

SaaS: We’ve helped drive thousands of leads for B2C as well as B2B SaaS companies across the globe attracting leads with efficient CAC’s.

Fintech: This is a cut-throat space, with aggressive campaigns, we’ve helped companies carve a niche for themselves using creative PPC approaches.

We provide detailed monthly reports, with real, human comments (not your automated, generic monthly reports which are set and forget for many agencies) that highlight key metrics, including leads, revenue, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs (CAC), return on ad spend (ROAS) among others. Additionally, we're always available for any questions or discussions you might want to have about your campaigns.

Certainly. Our approach is fully transparent, which means you will see exactly how much you are spending on all elements of your campaign. How else can you make data-based, objective decisions for your business. Your accountant would expect nothing less. We don’t hide any figures from you, giving you full access and ownership to your advertising asset.

That depends on the type of product or services you work with and on what you mean by “a small budget —because that could mean $500/month, or $5,000/month.

But let’s say, for example, you’re a local services business and you have 5 categories to your service. A great way to start with Google ads is to focus your ads in a concentrated area close to your office location. You can also focus your limited budget on the top 1-2 products/services you want to promote or that you know you will get the best results for. And for that, you wouldn’t need a big budget.

We’re big believers in not spreading yourself too thin—as the saying goes, it’s better to be a big fish in a small pond (focusing your ads on a specific location for the top 1-2 products or services that are your best offers) than a small fish in a big pond (trying to spread your ads across multiple locations for 5-10+ products or services).

Once you see some good results flowing through from your initial campaigns, you can always choose to re-invest some of your profits and expand your Google Ads budget and campaigns further. Obviously, there are a lot of factors that contribute to your success such as the actual products and services you have to offer, as well as the level of search demand, and customers’ level of intent and urgency to buy. But the point is, a small budget isn’t an obstacle to seeing success with Google Ads world, so long as you have a good strategy in place.

Get in touch with us today to explore how you could grow your business through Google Ads.

It's quite common, when you're new to Google Ads or PPC marketing, that you might think, "Oh, well, what if competitors click on my ads, wasting my money." That's an understandable concern, and it does happen in some industries, more so than others. The short answer is that there are ways that you can try and mitigate that, there are tools where it'll pick up if there's been multiple clicks from one IP address in a short space of time. And you can control those levers, like how sensitive it is, and different tools work better than others. There are some tools that look great and are very automated, and don't really have to get you to do any work. And there are other tools that are a bit cheaper, and they're a bit more manual, but they're more effective. But in a nutshell Google does a pretty good job of detecting invalid clicks and does refund them when detected. You can read more about what Google has to saw here. You can also read through a more detailed article on the topic here.

Whilst our headquarters are in Melbourne we’ve been generating results through Google ads across the country including:

  • Google ads in Melbourne
  • Google ads in Sydney
  • Google ads in Brisbane
  • Google ads in Adelaide

We also have managed and continue to manage PPC and SEO campaigns in some overseas markets such as the USA, UK, as well as other parts of Europe, Asia and Africa.

Given Google Ads runs on a pay-per-click (model) means you only pay when someone clicks on your ad. The amount you pay for a click will vary based on a range of factors: how many other advertisers there are, how much are others willing to pay for a lick, your industry and the level of demand, time of day, device, plus a range of other qualitative factors about your ads, account and website can also dictate how much you pay for a click.

That’s where our team comes in, as we can help you with the set-up and management of your Google ads so you are getting the best ROI for your budget. Get in touch with us to see how we can help. You can also read more about our approach to our fixed and transparent pricing approach here.

The quick answer is, no, it shouldn't. And that would undermine Google's goal of providing natural, relevant results in the organic listings.

If Google were found to be prioritising or giving extra benefit to people who are doing Google Ads to improve their SEO results, then that would make the whole system corrupt.

However, there is a twist to this. One of the signals for SEO is how much traffic you get to your site, and another signal is how many conversions or how long people spend on your site. So if you're driving more relevant traffic to your site and getting more engagement and conversions from that traffic, which Google can track, then that could indirectly impacting your SEO.

So is there a direct correlation between spending money on Google Ads and improving SEO results? No. But can doing Google Ads and getting great results impact your SEO? We think it can, in an indirect way. But it obviously depends on how well your site is performing. Obviously, whatever we say is not the complete authoritative answer, because we do not work for Google, we don't know their SEO algorithm, their ranking algorithm, but in our experience, that's the way we feel it could be working.

Yes, Google Ads can be great in helping small businesses get a leg up. Google Ads can help you stand out against larger companies, reach a wider audience, and drive better-fit customers to your site. Plus, with its pay-per-click model, you only pay when someone clicks on your ad, making it a cost-effective option. At Digital Autopilot, we have deep experience in Australian small businesses, from ecommerce to service businesses, and can help you maximise your ROI so you can grow your business and your bottom line.

Absolutely not! Your accounts are yours, and you will always have complete access to them. We’re not here to take them over, we’re here to be your helping hands and partners, managing your campaigns effectively while you still have ultimate control.

Definitely not. We believe in a flat, transparent fee-management model, so you know exactly where your money is going and what the expected delivery should be. Some other agencies charge anywhere between 10%-20% on your Google Ads spend.

This means if the agency suggests you increase spending to improve the performance of your campaign, it may be biased advice because they are also increasing their own bottom line. Also, shouldn’t an agency be trying to find ways to make your advertising more profitable or cost-effective, rather than just spending more?

How much time do you have?

In a nutshell, SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and PPC are both techniques used to increase visibility and traffic from search engines, but they function differently. SEO focuses on improving organic (unpaid) search engine rankings mainly through technical website optimisation, building domain authority through link building and content creation. SEO can take many months and sometimes even years to provide a good ROI. PPC, such as Google Ads on the other hand, primarily involves paid search advertising, such as Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns, but given you are paying for the position on the results page, you can get there much faster and you get a lot more control. Ideally, both strategies should be employed and are important components of a balanced digital marketing approach.
